Forex activity moves across regional business hours, commonly discussed in terms of Sydney, Tokyo, London and New York sessions. These are market conventions, not a guarantee that a broker’s symbol is tradable.
Time zones matter
Daylight-saving changes can shift overlaps between regions. A platform’s server time may differ from your local time or UTC.
Check the actual symbol
Use the symbol specification for trading sessions, daily maintenance breaks and holiday changes. Do not assume every currency or CFD follows the same schedule.
